This train carload of Fords aligning Main Street in Baudette shipped in by Lindholm Brothers promised to be a hot item as the new State Highway connected the area by road from International Falls to Crookston. The Clementson to Roosevelt portion was assured when the contract was let for $104,000. The price for the road including bridges and culverts was a little over $113,000 and the terms stated that the entire work was to be completed before November 1, 1915.

The new road was expected to hasten the development of the area.
